We all know how unusual it is to get two storms like this in a span of three days.

ODOT working some overtime since Sunday to keep the roads as ship-shape as they can be.

“It is very unusual, but we’re ready for it. We had about 130,000 tons of sand and salt mix, so we’re confident we’re going to have plenty for this storm,” said ODOT’s Mills Leslie. “It seems to be not lasting too long at least, but we’re going to continue to conquer it and do what we can to clear the snow and ice as quickly as possible.”

Also, some pretty common sense advice from ODOT: don’t go out if you don’t have to.

If you do, just use a little extra caution since there are some slick spots on bridges and overpasses throughout the Oklahoma City metro.
