OU Health, OU College Of Nursing Collaborate To Bring Additional Nurses To Workforce

OU Health, OU College Of Nursing Collaborate To Bring Additional Nurses To Workforce

OU Health and the OU College of Nursing are now collaborating on nurse workforce initiatives designed to bring additional nurses into the workforce during a time of critical need amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The two health services have created the Senior Nurse Intern program which pairs senior nursing students one-on0one with registered nurses in critical care units at all three OU hospitals.

According to OU, the program is now being implemented in hospitals across the state.
