Chickasha Festival Of Lights Leg Lamp

If you're looking to get into the Holiday spirit, the City of Chickasha is displaying a 40 foot inflatable "Leg Lamp".

The "Major Award" is a tribute to Chickasha native Noland James, who claims to have built the first leg as a prototype for movie "A Christmas Story."

The display will be a part of the city's annual Festival of Lights, which runs through December 31.

Choctaw-Nicoma Park School Update

The Choctaw-Nicoma Park school board says students can head back to the classroom Monday, December 7, despite Oklahoma County being in the red on the OSSBA's color-coded alert map.

Parents still have the option to continue distance learning for the rest of the semester.

Families have until Friday to enroll their child in distance learning or traditional learning next semester.
