OSBI Announces Arrest Of Man They Say Solicited Inappropriate Images Of Minor

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation announced that McAlester Police arrested a man who they say tried to get inappropriate pictures from an underage girl.

33-year-old Stephen Newman was arrested after the OSBI received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

According to the OSBI, Newman had inappropriate conversations online with an underage girl from Idaho.

Newman was arrested on one charge of procuring obscene material and was booked into the Pittsburg County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
