A single-vehicle rollover accident resulted in a man dead and two others uninjured early Sunday morning.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, three men were riding in a truck westbound on County Road 42 in Woodward County when the driver decided to hit the accelerator.

While accelerating, the driver also spun the tires which led to the driver losing control of the truck.

OHP said the vehicle entered a broad slide, left the roadway and collided with an embankment.

One of the two passengers, identified as 26-year-old Tyler Anthony Adams, was partially ejected from the vehicle. Adams was transported to Woodward Hospital where he was pronounced dead due to a head injury.

Both the driver and second passenger were not injured in the accident.

The condition of the driver and cause of the accident are still under investigation at this time.
