Officers Arrest Alleged Suspect Following Pursuit In Edmond

Officers have a suspect in custody following a Thursday afternoon police pursuit but not before separate accidents added to traffic congestion on I-35 in Edmond.

A three-car accident near I-35 and Covell Road brought traffic to a standstill but was eventually cleared.

Logan County officers then arrested a suspect following a pursuit near Interstate 35 and East Charter Oak Road. Following the end of the police pursuit, another three-vehicle accident took place near I-35 southbound and East Simmons Road.

The reason for Logan County officers' pursuit of the suspect in question is not known at this time.

The conditions of the drivers and passengers involved in the accidents have not been released.
