Overnight Shooting Leaves One Injured

Tulsa police say a man was shot in the leg after a fight in an apartment parking lot.

Officials said the event occurred just before 11:00 p.m. Thursday night at the Brightwater apartment complex near 21st and Southwest Boulevard.

Police told News On 6, when they arrived they found a man shot in the leg. 

They said the victim did not want to cooperate with them until he got to the hospital.

Police said there was a fight between the shooter and the victim after both went to a birthday party in one of the apartments. 

After the shooting people inside of the apartment did not want to speak with the authorities, according to police.

The status of both the victim and the shooter is till unknown.
