Oklahoma City police are looking for three men in connection with a deadly gunfight in Bricktown over the weekend.
Police said Demonte Semmions, 24, died in the parking lot of a Bricktown bar.
The shooting makes the third to happen in Bricktown in three months. The previous two shootings were not deadly.
Bricktown visitors said they are fed up with the gun violence.
“We cannot come downtown and enjoy ourselves if ya’ll gonna be with the violence,” said Rod, witness.
Rod witnessed the latest shooting in Bricktown early Sunday. Police said a fight at a bar spilled over into a parking lot on Sheridan Avenue and Mickey Mantle Drive and then turned into a gunfight.
“I was sitting over there, right there on the steps, and all I heard was about 10 or 15 shots,” Rod said.
When officers got to the scene, they found Semmions on the ground with a gunshot wound. Police said Semmions died at the scene from his injuries.
“Saw a guy laying on the ground,” said Rod. “He started breathing for his life. I prayed for him.”
Investigators were able to pull surveillance video of three men who are now wanted in connection with the shooting. They need the public's help to get them identified.
“There’s at least three people maybe four,” said Master Sgt. Gary Knight, Oklahoma City Police Department. “There was one shooter but appears they were all together . So we’re trying to get everyone identified that we can.”
Police said the scene outside the bar was chaotic and there could have been more victims.
"There’s a lot of people in Bricktown during that hour especially on the weekend,” said Knight. “Bad time for bullets to go flying around in that vicinity.”
