The University of Oklahoma is going virtual with its Panhellenic recruitment process after reports of large gathering and students not wearing face masks.
The Norman Transcript reports Quy Nguyen, the university's Director of Student Life, sent out and email to families saying quote, "We realize that part of what you and your student may have envisioned was an in-person component to the recruitment experience. As we have quickly found out, COVID-19 has created an environment that is far from normal."
Nguyen said OU will release more details about fraternity and sorority rush activities.
