Oklahoma State University officials said Saturday that they were notified of 23 positive COVID-19 cases at an off-campus sorority.

An Oklahoma State university official confirmed Saturday evening that the sorority house is Pi Beta Phi.

The university said that the entire chapter house "is in isolation or quarantine."

A member of the sorority, who does not live at the house, is among the 23 positive cases and will remain in isolation. Only one of the 23 cases are symptomatic at this time.

OSU said the people infected with COVID-19 are being monitored by the university and the Payne County Health Department while contact tracing is being conducted.

The facility has been disinfected and will be disinfected again after the two-week quarantine, the school said.
