The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, the conference home of University of Central Oklahoma athletics, announced Friday that it is suspending all fall competition through the end of the 2020 calendar year due to COVID-19 pandemic concerns.
The MIAA announced in July that it would suspend fall competition for a month due to the virus.

The MIAA joined other fellow NCAA Division II and Division I conferences like the Big Ten and Pac-12 who have canceled fall athletic events league-wide.
UCO said it will be the first year without a fall football season since 1945.
The MIAA said Friday it will make a decision on winter sports -- which includes men and women's basketball, wrestling and indoor track and field -- by no later than October 1.
