U.S.-Canada Border To Remain Closed Until Sept. 21

The border shared by the United States and Canada will remain closed through, at least, September 21, according to CBC in Canada.

CBC reports that the Canadian Public Safety Minister Bill Blair announced the continued closure for non-essential travel on Friday.

The continued closure of the U.S. Canadian border is due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The border closure had been set to expire in August before the latest extension.

The U.S.-Canada border first closed to non-essential travel on March 21 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
