While Oklahoma battles COVID-19 the Governor's Office is using a new tool to see how we stack up to other states.
The "Governor's Dashboard" compares data like agriculture, unemployment, and incarceration and will provide Oklahomans with an overview of the state's progress toward becoming a Top Ten in critical categories.
The dashboard is meant to work as a scorecard for Oklahomans to understand the metrics and methodology of the data in each category.
In a statement, Governor Stitt said, "Oklahoma can and should be a Top Ten State. In order to ensure we are effectively pursuing this vision, we have created an easy to understand scorecard that helps our state leaders and agencies monitor how we compare on the national level and make informed decisions in order to move the needle in key areas."
The scorecard can show data changes from year-to-year, or quarter-to-quarter, and improvements are highlighted in green.
