Tinker Air Force Base confirmed eight new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. The eight new COVID-19 cases bring the total positive tests on base to 203 since March.

Among the eight new cases, four civilians tested positive from the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex, three members tested positive from the 552nd Air Control Wing and a recruiting squadron member assigned to the Military Entrance Processing Station.
Notably, 22 of the 47 COVID-19 cases reported at the base since July 16 were from civilians working at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex. Eleven members from the 552nd Air Control Wing have tested positive for the virus over the same period of time.
Out of the base's 203 total COVID-19 cases, 170 of them have been reported since June 4.
Tinker Air Force Base reported its first case of COVID-19 on March 25.
