A Moore police officer was taken to a local hospital Monday afternoon after a crash, police said.

The wreck happened along 19th Street, near the Chili's restaurant, police said. A police department spokesman told News 9 that the officer was taken to the hospital with head and shoulder injuries.

The people in the other car were not hurt, police said.
