Former South Bend, Indiana mayor Pete Buttigieg is suspending his Democratic presidential campaign, CBS News confirmed Sunday evening.
In a News 9 statewide poll conducted last week, Buttigieg ranked fourth among the Democratic candidates by Oklahoma voters.
Buttigieg planned to visit Oklahoma City Monday before Oklahoma's Super Tuesday primary.
According to the Oklahoma for Pete Facebook page, Buttigieg will not be in Oklahoma City on Monday.

His campaign opened its first field office in Oklahoma City last week.
Buttigieg is out of the presidential race after he was declared the winner of the Iowa Caucus on Thursday.
