Showers, Storms Develop As Cold Front Arrives Monday

We will start the week off with springlike temperatures. Late week looks colder. There are rain chances early in the week then more chances off and on into early next week. Windy days are ahead.

Showers will move to the east through the day and skies will slowly clear out.

Strong south winds will become northerly as a cold front arrives.

Highs Monday will range from the 50s in the northwest to the 60s in the Oklahoma City Metro to the 70s in the southeast.

As the cold front arrives, showers and storm are expected to develop in eastern OK Monday evening. These storms may be strong to severe between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The threats will be strong winds and hail.

Central and western OK will be dry Monday afternoon with sunshine returning.
