The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a woman died Monday in a crash on westbound Interstate 40.

According to the report, 57-year-old Randall Johnson was driving a 1994 Ford Ranger on I-40 near Douglas Blvd. in Oklahoma City, when the vehicle had a tire failure. The vehicle left the road and rolled an unknown number of times.

Investigators said the passenger in the vehicle, 54-year-old Jessielyn Smith, died at the scene.

Johnson was taken OU Medical Center and is reportedly stable.
