For the first time in history, the U.S. Supreme Court will release live audio of its oral arguments this week.

For the next two weeks, the court will hear oral arguments remotely, and for the first time in history make the live audio of those arguments available to the public.

The arguments include high-profile cases about birth control access, religious freedom, the Electoral College, and President Trump's financial records. They're scheduled to start Monday and run through Wednesday for both this week and next, starting at 9 a.m. Central time.

Both sides in each case will have two minutes of uninterrupted argument. After that, each of the nine justices has been given two minutes for questioning, giving each side a total of 30 minutes.

This comes after the Supreme Court canceled its March and April argument sessions because of the COVID-19 outbreak.
