Edmond's LibertyFest 2020 Has Been Canceled

LibertyFest has been canceled for 2020, according to its website.

The large Fourth of July celebration in Edmond has been canceled after discussions between City of Edmond and LibertyFest leadership.

LibertyFest draws large crowds and many doctors and public health officials in the United States say Americans we need to continue to practice a level of social distancing throughout the summer in the fight against the coronavirus.

No explicit reason was given for the cancellation on its website, but they said LibertyFest will return for 2021 and will be better than ever.
