A few thunderstorms are possible to start the day Monday in central and northern Oklahoma, but they will quickly move east.
We will be warm and windy in the afternoon. Look for sunshine and 80s across the state. Winds will gust to 30 mph for much of the afternoon.
Monday night a few showers and storms will be possible in southern Oklahoma, but we are not expecting anything widespread.
Tuesday the severe threat will be moderate as Gulf moisture races in across the state ahead of a cold front. Along the front, storms will quickly developed after 2 p.m.These storms will eventually form a line that will march to the southeast through the afternoon.
Strongest cells will be capable of large damaging hail up to the size of baseballs. Damaging winds in excess of 75 mph will be possible. The tornado threat will be low, but not zero Tuesday.
