Starting Friday for different cities across Oklahoma, some businesses including hair and nail salons, spas, tattoo parlors and even pet groomers will be allowed to reopen for appointments only.

The businesses that open will have to follow strict sanitation guidelines.

In the metro, Moore, Midwest City, Del City, Mustang and Yukon have updated their emergency declarations to allow some businesses to get back to work.

The Governor says customers must maintain those same social distancing rules that have been in place for more than a month now, including staying six feet apart.

They're even encouraged to stay in their car until its time for their appointment to avoid further congestion.

This is phase 1 of the Governor's three phase plan to reopen the state, which includes allowing another wave of businesses to reopen next Friday, May 1st, as long as they stick to social distancing rules.

“If our hospital and our incident rates remain manageable for 14-days, we will then move to phase two. But only if our data tells us it’s time,” said Governor Kevin Stitt.

There are some cites here in the metro who are sticking with their own restrictions, this includes Oklahoma City and Norman.
