One man was killed and another injured over a dispute over marijuana. According to new court documents, the victims were shot when they refused to sell drugs to the gunman and his friends.
It happened last week at the Golden Rule Trailer Park in the 2000 block of S. MacArthur Boulevard.
According to investigators marijuana was found on one of the victims, inside his home, and on the gunman.
Police responded to the Golden Rule Mobile Park after a call to 911.
"We just heard the sirens and we saw the helicopters," said concerned neighbor Brendalyn Moore.
When police arrived, they discovered a body, identified as 24-year-old Randell Dukes III, lying in the driveway of a home.
His brother was also shot.
"The other was transported to an area hospital and is stable," said Oklahoma City Police MSgt. Gary Knight.
Police also found suspected gunman Gael Zamores, just one day shy of his 19th birthday, walking nearby.
Once identified as the shooter, Zamores, according to court documents "admitted to going to the victim's home with two other females to buy weed."
He said the victims refused, believing "their money was counterfeit."
Zamores said he left momentarily as one of his friends tried to convince Dukes to sell them the drugs.
He said he returned and shot the victims --and stole a bag of marijuana.
A search of the trailer uncovered a "plastic tub with loose marijuana totaling 21.5 pounds."
Zamores is facing several charges including first degree murder and robbery.
