Midwest City High School Coach Attacked

MIDWEST CITY (AP) -- An Oklahoma City high school science teacher is suspected of attacking the Midwest City High School football coach in the parking lot of Midwest City High School.

Police say witnesses saw Southeast High School teacher Curtis Lowe attack assistant football coach Jason Sexton from behind then leave him unconscious Monday morning.

Police Chief Brandon Clabes says Lowe was angry because his wife had gone to lunch with Sexton and other teachers. Lowe's wife is also a Midwest City teacher.

Police have questioned Lowe but have not arrested him.

Sexton was back at football practice Wednesday.
