LONE WOLF, Okla. (AP) -- The death of an 8-year-old boy in a pile of cotton seeds is being ruled an accident.

The body of Charles Freeman the third was found shortly before 4 Saturday afternoon in the seed pile at Freeman Feed Lot near Lone Wolf, west of Hobart in southwestern Oklahoma. The cause of death is believed to be suffocation.

The boy had been reported missing about 1:30 and was last seen playing on the pile. His shoes and coat were found on the pile.

He was the grandson of former Oklahoma Assistant Secretary of Agriculture Charles Freeman senior.
