(Norman-AP) -- An Oklahoma wrestler is being honored as the Big 12 Wrestler of the Week. Quantres Bates pinned Oklahoma State's sixth-ranked Jeff Ragan Sunday to avenge his only loss of the season -- a 12-10 decision to Ragan at the National Duals.

Bates is in the 125-pound division and is in his first year with the Sooners. He is now 21-and-1 on the season and ranked third in the nation by Amateur Wrestling News. He is the second Sooner wrestler to win the award this season. Oklahoma travels to face Missouri in a dual tonight
