Tulsa police recovered a stolen pickup truck after a chase near Apache and Peoria late on Wednesday night. According to police, officers ran the tag on a truck at a nearby QuikTrip. Once officers determined that the vehicle was stolen, the driver fled from the scene and would not stop for officers. Police later found the truck parked in a driveway, but the driver was gone. The vehicle has been towed and no arrests were made.

The Labor Department said Thursday that applications plummeted by 193,000 from a revised 769,000 a week earlier. Jobless claims are now down sharply from a peak of 900,000 in early January. According to police, the driver was going around a curve when she lost control and went through one of the walls of the carport around 2:15 a.m. Police say there was some damage left behind and no one was injured.

Dr. David Fowler, a forensic pathologist and former Maryland chief medical examiner who reviewed Floyd's case for the defense, testified he believes Floyd died of a sudden cardiac arrhythmia due to his underlying heart disease during his restraint and subdual by police.
