The Tulsa Fire Department was called to the scene of a burst steam near East 7th Street and South Boston Avenue near the Tulsa Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday. South Boston Avenue Between East 6th Street and East 7th Street has been closed while crews work to make repairs. Currently it is unclear what caused the pipe to burst.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is warning people about a new scam targeting online car buyers. According to deputies, two reports have been taken in the last two weeks from people who tried to buy a car online. Both victims used different sites, but told deputies the sellers wanted to be paid in gift cards before shipping the cars. Deputies say once the victims realized what happened, the gift cards had already been cashed out. According to deputies, legitimate sellers will never ask buyers
