Hoover Elementary Parent Gives Away Handmade Winter Gear

A Hoover Elementary parent is doing her part to make the community a little warmer.

The Tulsa school said a parent of one of the students occasionally knits scarves and other gear to hang on the handrails in front of the school.

A note in one of the bags reads, "I am not lost. I was handmade for you! If you are cold and need me, please take me!"

The bags were seen out front of the school Wednesday morning.
