Oklahoma City School Board members continued their search Monday for a superintendent, holding an executive session to discuss the possible qualifications for the position.
Parents and concerned community members met at U.S. Grant High School last week to brainstorm about qualifications they would like in the next superintendent of the Oklahoma City School District.
Former Superintendent John Porter resigned in January.
The parents listed loyalty, dedication and experience as top priorities.
On Monday, the Oklahoma City School Board met to discuss the list of desired qualifications.
During the executive session, board members reviewed the compiled criteria and said they hope to choose the next superintendent while considering the community's input.
A final report from the meeting will be given to the school board, who plans to fill the position by July 1.
