We are heading south now to Houma area in Terrebonne Parish.

9:47 a.m. - We are in Baton Rouge. Already seeing downed power lines & trees knocked over. Rain blowing sideways. Local radio says its going to get worse.

10:24 a.m. - We are now entering the area where Gustav has made landfall. Winds are topping almost 100 mph. There is debris in the roads. We are hearing on radio one death so far and rising waters in New Orleans.

10:42 a.m. - Checked in at Louisiana State Emergency office. Lots of rain and wind, but we are heading south now to Houma area in Terrebonne Parish. We are being told that is where the eye has made landfall.
