North Pole City - In a matter of days, millions will wake up to gifts left by a jolly fellow that comes down the chimney of your house once a year and leaves you gifts if you've been good. He's known throughout the world by many different names, but in the United States, he's known as Santa Claus.
Mr. Claus recently came to Oklahoma City's North Pole City. Parents and children listened as he told the story of Christmas. Just before his discussion, I was allowed backstage in his shop to ask behind the scene questions such as, 'How do you hire elves?' and 'How do you find me even when I'm not at home?'"
"Children worry about that a lot," Santa Claus said. "When they come to visit me, they'll be sure or their parents will be sure, to remind me that they're going to be at their grandparents' or their aunts' and uncles'. Often times we'll do a check with the parents. We have a real close communications with the parents all year round."
Santa Claus even told me what actually makes reindeer fly and how he met Mrs. Claus.
