EDMOND, Oklahoma -- An Edmond bus driver is being called a hero for her actions during Tuesday's severe weather. What she did may have helped save the lives of her precious cargo, the children on the bus.
Bus driver Cynthia Wiggs said while she was driving her regular route Tuesday, her instincts told her to pull over and unload the bus.
She pulled into Dee Black's store, Circle E Inc., and it turned out to be a safe haven that happened Cynthia and her ‘little blessing' survive a devastating tornado.
Black, who witnessed Cynthia's bravery, even called the district to brag about her actions.
