TULSA, Oklahoma -- Authorities said weather may have played a factor in an accident between a car and an EMSA ambulance Thursday morning.
Tulsa Police said the accident happened on the westbound exit ramp of U.S. Highway 169 to Interstate 44.
Light snow was falling in the Tulsa area at the time of the accident and the roadway was wet.
At the time of the accident, EMSA said the ambulance was transporting a patient to a Tulsa hospital.
The EMSA paramedics or the patient were not injured in the accident.
Another EMSA ambulance was called to the scene to take the patient on to the hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle was also taken by EMSA ambulance to a Tulsa hospital.
