OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police are seeking the public's help in the investigation of a possible rape and assault.
On August 30, at about 5 a.m. Oklahoma City Police were called to an area hospital in reference to a female in the emergency room who said she had been raped and assaulted.
Officers learned that the 28-year-old victim had been brought to the hospital by friends. She had been badly beaten, and stated that she had been raped as well. She was found in her own vehicle by a passerby near the area of S.W. 41st and Youngs Boulevard.
This passerby was able to contact a friend of the victim, who came to the scene, and eventually transported her to the hospital.
Surveillance photos were taken at a convenience store at 29th Street and Dumas of three females and one male who police believe to be connected to the case.
Anyone who knows the identity of any of these people is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 235-7300. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a cash reward.
