DEL CITY, Oklahoma -- Three Del City children were laid to rest Saturday. Four-year-old Christopher, three-year-old Krystal, and one-year-old Kailey were killed Tuesday, January 4 in an RV fire.
Their mother, Stephanie Dunham, was burned while trying to save them.
Hundreds gathered outside their funeral, including bikers who planned to protect the family from a radical group from Kansas that was expected to protest the funeral.
"All kinds of people are out today to show these families their support because that's just not right them coming out to protest a funeral," said
Members of the Mid-Del Community are planning a Dunham Family Benefit on Saturday, Feb 5 at 351 N. Air Depot Rd in Midwest City, just north of Heritage Mall. Organizers are looking for donations for a silent auction that will be held to raise money for the family.
Saturday's benefit will be from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. at Ain't Misbehavin and will include a craft fair, bake sale, silent auction and dance off. Learn more about the Dunham Family Benefit
A website dedicated to help hurting families is also asking anyone who wants to donate to help the family to do so at the Destiny Christian Center website.
