OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City firefighters battled a house fire early Saturday. The house in the 4800 block of N.E. 70th Street was fully involved when crews arrived on scene at about 5 a.m.
Fortunately, the man who lived in the home was able to get out of the house safely.
Firefighters said they had a difficult time putting out the flames because the home was located far from the street. They believe the fire may have started in the kitchen.
The Red Cross is assisting the homeowner.
