OKLAHOMA CITY -- A 4-alarm fire at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex is out.
The Oklahoma City Fire Department arrived at the Crown Point Apartments at 12600 N. MacArthur Boulevard just before 4 p.m. to find flames and heavy smoke pouring from the building. Fire crews immediately began evacuating people from the complex.
Ninety firefighters using around 20 pieces of equipment worked to put out the raging fire. In all, 18 units were damaged. Firefighters were able to save eight units.
The fire started on a second-floor balcony, but quickly spread to the attic.
It's not known how the fire started. No injuries are reported.
