Oklahoma City Police are trying to find the gunman who walked into a Walgreens and stole several bottles of pain pills from the pharmacy.
A man dressed in a gray hooded sweatshirt and wearing a backpack walked into the Walgreens at S.E. 44th Street and Shields on Sunday, December 4. He stood at the pharmacy counter, pulled a gun from his front pocket and pointed it at a worker.
The pharmacist told police the robber said, "give me all your narcotics." The employee placed several bottles containing Lortab on the counter. The man grabbed the bottles, put them in the pocket of his hooded shirt and left the store.
The pharmacist said the man stole around 1,000 pills.
The victim described the suspect as a white man, around 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was clean shaven and appeared to be in his 40s. He was also wearing gloves and a brown baseball cap.
Police later found a backpack and a black pellet gun behind a motel south of the store. They believe both items belonged to the robber. Police are still searching for the suspect.
