OSBI agents are still trying to track down the person responsible for shooting and killing a Lexington man.
The murder of 55-year-old Gary Norton is the first murder the town of Lexington has seen in more than 20 years. His son said his father moved to Lexington seven years ago to be closer to his grandkids and because it was a safe community.
Norton was found dead in his home on Sunday. His family got the news Sunday night. Now they are left wondering who would kill their father and why.
"My dad never did anything to anybody to really make them angry," said Gary Norton, Jr., Gary Norton's son. "I mean he was a good guy, just never really made an enemy."
Right now, the OSBI has no suspects in custody for the murder.
US Marshals did arrest Norton's other son, Joshua Wayne Norton the same weekend, but for unrelated charges.
