Oklahoma City police have cleared the scene in downtown Oklahoma City where a suspicious package was found Tuesday afternoon. Police say the package is actually a suitcase filled with clothes.
The package was located just after 12 p.m. Tuesday at 1131 W. Sheridan in downtown Oklahoma City. It was called in as suspicious after it was found leaning against a building.
Police shut down Main Street between Western Avenue and Sheridan and asked people to avoid the area during their investigation. After about three hours, roads in the area were finally re-opened.
The bomb squad was also called in to investigate.
