NEW YORK CITY--Well, by the time you read this, there will be at least one less Dweller in the Fan Cave. I am hoping that I make this next cut, as the remaining Dwellers will be heading to the All Star Game and HR Derby in Kansas City! Leading up to the All Star Game, all of our energy and focus will be centered on that game and its festivities. One thing that we are doing is getting people to go to our website to pledge their allegiance to either the American League or National League. Do your part here.

Here's my video that I made to encourage people to pledge for the NL.

This week in the Fan Cave was incredible! The biggest player to ever come by the Fan Cave made it through our doors this week. It was none other than the Captain of the New York Yankees: Derek Jeter. He was joined by a number of other Yankees players for an event for their annual HOPE Week philanthropy project. I am happy to report that he and his teammates were incredibly nice and personable with the Dwellers and all of the guests. They really were a tremendous group of guys!

Also, a couple of the other Cave Dwellers and me went on a private tour of Citi Field this week (the New York Mets' stadium). It was an unbelievable stadium! I was really impressed with the entire thing. We were surprised when the Mets let us down on the field and in the dugout. Once we got to the dugout, we were greeted by the Mets mascot, Mr. Met! All in all, it was a great trip and the Mets organization was wonderful!

Here is a full list of the people that came through the Cave this week:

-Ubaldo Jimenez (Cleveland Indians)

-Jason Kipnis (Cleveland Indians)

-Sammy Adams (Rapper)

-Derek Jeter (New York Yankees)

-CC Sabathia (New York Yankees)

-Phil Hughes (New York Yankees)

-Clay Rapada (New York Yankees)

-Chris Stewart (New York Yankees)

-Jeff Nelson (Retired Pitcher)

-Chris Sale (Chicago White Sox)

-Addison Reed (Chicago White Sox)
