NEW YORK CITY--It has been a wonderful week inside the Cave. A lot of different things are going on, and everyone is making their push before the elimination this coming week. As you may already know, my big push this week came in the way of a music video that I did with Vega Heartbreak from St. Louis. Several months ago, we decided to collaborate on a song for Cardinals fan, and this is what came from it.
We are doing our best to get this video out to as many people as possible. So, if you could share this video on your social media profiles and with any radio stations that you have contact with, that would be great. Here is where you can download the song for free.
Also in the Cave this week, we saw the funniest visit/skit that we have done in the two years of the Fan Cave. Texas Rangers pitchers Derek Holland and Ryan Dempster visited the Cave and ended up doing dueling Harry Caray impressions. The most difficult part of watching that skit was trying not to bust out laughing the entire time. Let's just say you need to check back to www.MLBFanCave.com often, as that video should be finished any day now!
In addition, we had Red Sox catcher and former OKC Redhawk Jarrod Saltalamacchia visit with pitcher Mark Melancon. We also had a visit from ESPN's Rick Sutcliffe. He was one of the most genuinely nice guys that we have had in the Cave, and he ended up sharing a ton of very cool baseball stories that we would have never heard otherwise.
Recently, I had the opportunity to represent MLB and the Fan Cave at the 4th annual Damon Runyon 5K at Yankee Stadium. This run raises money for the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation. This year, there were over 4,000 participants and over $715,000 raised for cancer research. Here is a video chronicling my experience.
If you get a chance, check out the blogs that I did this week:
