Firefighters extinguished a fire at a home in northwest Oklahoma City early Sunday morning.

Crews rescued two people from the burning home, and officials say another person managed to escape before crews arrived.

Fire crews responded to the fire at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday, at a home located near N. Meridian and N.W. 3rd Street.

According to Battalion Chief Steve Lumry, the fire actually started in the pickup that was parked in the garage at the home. It then spread to the attic.

The truck was a Ford F-150. It's unclear at this point how it caught on fire.

Crews estimate $29,000 in damage. No one was injured.
