Police are looking for two suspects following a bank robbery in south Moore Thursday morning.
It happened at the IBC Bank located at 901 S.W. 19th Street just after 10 a.m. The suspects are armed and considered dangerous.
Police describe the suspects as two black men in their late 20's to early 30's. One is wearing an orange hoodie. Police say both suspects bailed out of a car with guns in hand at the Fairways at Moore apartment complex, and then split up running in opposite directions, east and west. The car was reportedly stolen.
Along with Moore police and its canine unit, Oklahoma City police, Norman police, Cleveland County deputies and Oklahoma Highway Patrol are assisting in the search for the suspects. OKCPD's Air One helicopter is also searching from the air.
Police are concentrating their search on the Fairways at Moore apartment complex, doing door to door searches of every apartment. The search perimeter is currently at S.W. 19th Street to Indian Hills Road and from Telephone Road to Santa Fe.
Southmoore High School, Plaza Towers, Oakridge and Briarwood elementary schools were placed on lockdown shortly after the robbery. The lockdowns were lifted just after 2 p.m.
