The missing plane that authorities from Oklahoma and Colorado were looking for has been found near the town of Guymon in the Oklahoma panhandle.

The airplane disappeared on Monday, April 1, 2013.

Authorities say the pilot, Neil Asting of Monument, Colorado, and his wife, Karen, were visiting relatives in Yukon over the Easter weekend and then left the El Reno airport at 9 a.m. on Monday.

They were headed back to Colorado but never arrived.

Authorities confirm both Asting and his wife were killed in the crash.

The aircraft was scheduled to fly from El Reno to Clinton to Guymon to La Junta to Colorado Springs. The last contact with the aircraft was with the Guymon Airport at 5 p.m. Monday.

The plane was registered to Asting.
