A 23-year-old man is sitting in jail, accused of gunning down a woman during a domestic assault in a northwest Oklahoma City home.
Police say just before midnight July 5, Kenneth Kimbrough shot 28-year-old Quanisha Dupree multiple times. She was rushed to OU Medical Center, where she died.
Police say Kimbrough ran from the house of the shooting. He was found a few hours later near S.W. 89th Street and Drexel, and taken into custody. He was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of first-degree murder.
Police say Dupree's death is the 38th homicide in Oklahoma City this year.
