Josh Mabin, a three-star recruit out of Klein Oak high school in Spring, Texas, announced his commitment to Oklahoma State via Twitter last night.

"Newest Oklahoma State commitment for the class of 2014! #Cowboys #OakNation," Mabin tweeted along with an Instagram selfie wearing a bright orange OSU shirt while striking the "Cam Newton" Superman pose.

Scout.com ranks Mabin as the No. 16 middle linebacker in the nation. He received offers from 11 FCS-D1 schools including Baylor, Boise State, Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma.

Then there's former UConn quarterback Richard Lagow, who announced his departure and left a heartfelt goodbye note to Huskies fans on Twitter while changing his profile to "Quarterback at Oklahoma State University."

The six-foot-six freshman wanted to be closer to his hometown of Plano, Texas, where he was a three-star recruit.
