Oklahoma City Police have arrested a second suspect in the shooting death of a former Edmond Memorial High School basketball player.
On Tuesday, police arrested 17-year-old Deveon McCloud on a warrant for first-degree murder and robbery. Police say the teen and his 20-year-old brother Albert McCloud walked into a room at the Lincoln Inn Express in Oklahoma City on August 14. The two allegedly tried to rob Blayke Ladd and another person. The witness told police the suspects shot Ladd before running out of the room.
Police released surveillance video taken at the motel, which showed two men entering the building and later running away. Investigators received numerous tips leading them to the brothers.
Albert McCloud was arrested on August 26. His brother, Deveon, was taken into custody one day later.
