Eight puppies were saved from a burning house in Cashion, Oklahoma, and now, they are looking for their forever homes.
According to the owner of the boxer/lab mix puppies, the house she was renting caught on fire Sunday morning, and she was only able to save herself, her grandmother's bible, and her dogs.
Oklahoma City resident Jan Hinkle heard about the story, and brought the traumatized and homeless puppies into her house to help the owner. However, Hinkle said she cannot keep the puppies. She has checked with animal rescue places and they are full to capacity.
Now, Hinkle said she is hoping to find loving homes for the puppies.
The puppies, including three males and five females, are almost three months old. Hinkle said they are no longer traumatized and are full of energy.
